Craig A. Skolnick, M.D.

BIOGRAPHICAL:



Craig A. Skolnick, M.D., a board certified Ophthalmologist, graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Michigan, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He went on to receive his medical degree from The Ohio State University, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed a transitional medicine internship at The Louis A. Weiss Memorial/University of Chicago Hospital, and completed a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary. Prior to moving to Florida, Dr. Skolnick completed a fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Skolnick began his professional career at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute of the Palm Beaches, University of Miami School of Medicine, as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology. During his 7 years as an academic physician, Dr. Skolnick lectured to fellows, residents and medical students, and taught cataract and corneal surgery. Dr. Skolnick also maintained a full clinical practice and published numerous articles and book chapters. He currently lectures to local doctors and the community about advances in Ophthalmology.
